When Will We Learn?

I’ve noticed the state of the world seems to be rather bleak, depending on the content you consume. As well as changes happening to the economy and most places aren’t really accommodating to what people need. I also want people to know that working basic 9-5 jobs, unless you’re investing and saving every single penny. They aren’t going to make you rich. Realistically.

You have to have multiple sources of income to reach the riches. With that being said most people either don’t know where to start or life just throws things in their way. Or they straight up don’t want todo anything about it. I know that at one point in time I thought the world was going to save me. I also thought about saving the world. Whatever that even means. The world doesn’t need saving. The people do.

I think we as a society have forgot the community of living. Like look as us working to make other peoples dreams come true, and slaving away about it. Instead of helping each other build each other up. And I am aware that not everyone is going to be everyone’s cup of tea. But there is enough people out there for each other. We are all literally on this magical earth that has provided everything we need in order to survive. Yet we sit here. Cradling to our vices and indulging in the corporate greed. The worst part of it all, is everyone just says that this is the way it is and always has been.

But I want to know how we reached this point. I want to know when in time, people, and society decided that letting the exterior dictate what happens to us. How we let certain families own everything. How we can all sit here and look at each other and still live these lives. I know some people are scared of the uncertainty of it changing, especially since this is all anyone has ever known. But we have all gotten rather lazy.

With that being said, I know that the ying and yang of the world will always be a thing. I just think that most people don’t care about themselves enough to want to make the changes needed.

I almost think people forget this is all temporary. We are here temporarily. Take chances. Try life out. At least you can say you gave it your all.
